MADISON
AWAITS YOUR PLEASURE
Madison
is the capital of the state of Wisconsin and home to a fine big-ten
university and several smaller colleges and business schools. It is a
city of beautiful lakes and parks, and a marvelous free zoo. Many
museums, art galleries, and a fine library system are here. Good
restaurants number into the hundreds. A world-class arts district is
currently under construction, covering an entire block on State
Street, where many interesting shops can be enjoyed.

State
Capitol, only a few minutes away, with the famous Farmer's
Market on the grounds every Saturday morning |
Olbrich
Botanical Gardens has a beautiful glass-enclosed conservatory and acres
of outdoor gardens. There is a top-rated Farmer's Market on Saturdays
around the square, where you can also tour the stunning State Capitol
Building. The Frank Lloyd Wright Monona Terrace Center is connected to
the capitol grounds by a lovely boulevard, very pedestrian and bicycle
friendly, as is all of Madison. Bring your bikes...we have a locked shed
for them at Annie's.

In
the Winter, Annie's is a WONDERLAND, cross country

and a game of chess by the fire.
